HomeStore POS ("we", "us") provides retail software to furniture, mattress and home-goods dealers. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
Information about you, our customer. When you contact us, start a trial or become a dealer, we collect your name, business name, email, phone and billing details, plus basic records of your use of the software.
Information your store puts into the software. Your customer records, sales, inventory and staff details. This is your data. We hold it to run the service for you. We do not sell it, share it with other dealers, or use it to market anything to your customers.
To run and support the software, to bill you, to contact you about your account or a service problem, and to improve the product. We may send occasional product news; you can tell us to stop at any time.
Service providers who make the software work — hosting, payment processing, email delivery — and only what they need. If the law compels disclosure, we comply. If the business is ever sold, your data would transfer with it, and we would tell you first.
To help with a problem we may open your store in a support session. Those sessions are used for support and nothing else.
We keep your data for as long as you are a dealer, and for a reasonable period after, so you can get an export. You can ask for a full export or deletion at any time — although we may need to keep some records for tax and accounting reasons.
Access to a store requires a sign-in, staff permissions limit what each person can see, and we take reasonable measures to protect the service. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your data.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights.
